Requirements to Join WTOA

Welcome to the WTOA Requirements page! To ensure the integrity and credibility of our network, we have established specific criteria for membership. Please review the following requirements carefully to determine if your business meets the criteria for joining WTOA:

1. Certifications & Permits: Ensure that your business has obtained all necessary licenses and permits to meet legal requirements and operate within the tourism industry. This demonstrates your commitment to compliance and trustworthiness in business operations.

2. 2 Years in Business: Demonstrate a proven track record and stability in the industry by showcasing at least two years of operation. This indicates your readiness for partnership and growth within the WTOA network.

3. Currently in Business: Active involvement in day-to-day business activities is essential to demonstrate your commitment and capability to engage with the WTOA network effectively. Your current business operations showcase your readiness for collaboration and partnership.

4. 3 References from Same Business Managers/Owners: Provide testimonials from reputable business managers or owners outside your country, affirming your credibility and professionalism globally. These references serve as evidence of your commitment to excellence and your ability to deliver exceptional services to clients worldwide.

5. Roles within other travel or tour operators associations: Members associated with WTOA must not be, or must refrain from holding key positions, including ownership, partnership, or any significant roles, within other travel or tour operators associations, or any related tourism networks. These measures are implemented to foster a distinguished community committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in the tourism sector.
